Connect WordPress

The IteroChat plugin adds the chat widget to your WordPress site without copying any code.

Get the IteroChat plugin from the WordPress plugin directory.

Install the plugin

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins, then Add New.
2. Search for "IteroChat", or install it from the WordPress plugin directory.
3. Activate the plugin.

Connect your site

1. Open the IteroChat menu in your WordPress admin.
2. Click "Connect to IteroChat". A new tab opens on iterochat.com.
3. Sign in, choose the organization you want to connect, and approve.
4. Return to WordPress. The widget goes live on your site shortly.

Only an owner or admin of an organization can approve a connection.

Turn the widget on or off

Use the "Show the chat widget on this site" toggle on the plugin page. Turning it off hides the widget without disconnecting.

Disconnect

You can disconnect from two places:

• In WordPress, click "Disconnect" on the plugin page.
• In IteroChat, open Settings, then Connected apps, and disconnect the site there.

Disconnecting revokes access right away and removes the widget from your site.
